Limited Scope Survey
A Limited Scope Survey is often considered when a full Pre Purchase survey is not required. This may be because only part of the boat needs to be inspected, for example the Hull, Keel, Rig & Rigging or Stern Gear.
Our clients often engage us to conduct a Limited Scope Survey as a means of evaluating whether it is worth going ahead with a more expensive Pre Purchase survey.
Whilst this type of survey is less expensive than a full Pre Purchase Survey, it is significantly less detailed and not suitable for applying for insurance or making an important purchasing decisions.
